With a rosary tucked in her pocket and a cell phone at the ready, Donna-Marie Cooper O’Boyle delights in any time she can steal away to spend with family; whether it’s cooking together in the kitchen, gardening, out on a walk together, playing a game, or conversing over dinner.
Keeping a low-profile (celebrity-wise) at home; nonetheless, she strives to spread inspiration and encouragement to Catholic mothers through her TV show, “Everyday Blessings for Catholic Moms” and television series, “Catholic Mom’s Cafe.” Donna-Marie travels the country to speak about prayer, motherhood, family, and women’s issues. She thoroughly enjoys meeting her readership to swap stories of Faith, and she loves to inspire others, imparting experiences she’s shared with her spiritual mentor and friend, Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
When Donna-Marie is not busy being the Mom and wife (but in reality and in her heart, that is something she is always involved with and so dear to her heart), or when she’s not out and about giving a talk or retreat, she’s usually at her home nestled in the woods of New England, spending time with family, feeding the birds, enjoying nature, and working on another book (or two or three!) while her two trusty cats are always nearby.
Oh, and it is quite possible that you may spot Donna-Marie on occasion enjoying a gelato in the Piazza Navona in Rome! But, that’s not before she heads over to St. Peter’s to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and kneel next to Blessed Pope John Paul II’s tomb.
Now, maybe you want to hear the WHOLE scoop. Yes, it’s true, Donna-Marie’s laundry is rarely totally complete. From time to time, you might see a few dishes (or a bunch!) in her kitchen sink. And, her house is not aesthetically correct (probably never will be!). Though she does like things neat and tidy, she is not so overly concerned about that because people come first in her life. Laundry, dishes, and stuff can wait.
