  1. Donna – Thoroughly enjoyed this program.
It helped me get started on my daily journey of faith. Where would I be today without my faith in God? I feel truly blessed to be a practicing Catholic. Hopefully my courage and strength, for which I pray each day, show thru in my daily life. May God bless you in all you do to spread the word. Looking forward to reading your up-coming memoir.

  2. Thanksgiving for the blessings shared of Donna-Marie Cooper O’Boyle, it is inspirational testimony, courageous, and are a true witness for Christ in the pro-life Faith journey – a Catholic perspective. The honest and truthful conversation is warmly welcome, filled with integrity and good morality. Sharing is a beautiful healing and prayerfully unites us as snares, trials, and tribulations arise in the ‘daily grind’. We live the Gospel and remain faithful practicing Catholics. God blessed us all! Thanks again for your ‘Life is a Blessing.’

  4. Dear Donna-Marie,
God is always moving, and I saw that and so felt that today as I was moved to turn on EWTN through the internet as we are posted in here South America. I rarely watch anything, but in the times when I am inspired, there is always something that I need to hear and will sometimes listen to a program while doing house tasks during nap time. Today was that day. You were on the progran. I am in my 14th week of pregnancy with our sixth little treasure, and I began having some concerns last night in bleeding. Before this happened though, I went and picked up your 9-month Novena book off our shelf and opened it randomly leading me to a Spiritual Communion with Our Lord. I just began this book of yours with this new baby of ours, and I know why: God is blessing me with grace and the opportunity to read another mother’s dear words and your love of your mission to motherhood in writing. I feel the same way. Additionally, I have a deep love for Mother Teresa, and we have our 5th child (our 4th sweet daughter) with her second name after Mother Teresa, of “Agnes.” I just want you to know that in your sharing and being on bed rest you have helped others grow closer to Our Lord and Our Lady, St. Joseph and Heavenly Treasures (I have had some scares in my last pregnancy in particular with 2 hematomas, which seemed miraculously cured when we thought we could lose our sweet girl– what a gift life is, and a witness to the world always to uphold and protect it) while caring for our other 4 children, who were such handmaids during those difficult moments. But in those, God allows us to embrace His treasures when sometimes He does make us lay down in green pastures so we will be refreshed. With much gratitude, love in the mission of motherhood and the vocation of marriage, God bless and keep you, Mary (like your daughter’s name my Mom and Dad also named me Mary Catherine after my Mom:)

    • Dear Mary Catherine, Thank you for your beautiful message. May God continue to bless you as you read my book “Prayerfully Expecting” during your pregnancy. I very much appreciate your kind words. Take good care of yourself. God bless you and keep you!

  6. Marcus was a passenger on my Trolley route. I looked for his show. You were there it was a blessing to hear your story. Memorial Day misses the point of real heroism. Women like
you doing what you’ve done in spite of what was done to you are real heroes. Thanks for your witness.

    • You are very kind, Jerry. I am truly touched by your words. I’m glad that you liked the show. My hope is that by sharing my journey others will be helped and inspired. There are many other twists and turns revealed in my upcoming memoir: “The Kiss of Jesus: How Mother Teresa and the Saints Helped Me to Discover the Beauty of the Cross.” God bless you!

  7. I’m watching your appearance. Thank you for your honesty. Often times there is shame about failed marriages and annulments, single motherhood. No one WANTS to raise kids alone but there is no shame in being a good mom and faithful Catholic woman. If more people would be open and honest about their struggles and how they bring us closer to Jesus, there wouldn’t be as much stigmatization and judgmental attitudes. Once someone can understand what challenges us and how much we do NOT fit the stereotypes, the easier it will be to make connections with those who once would have shunned us for not being blessed in the same way as others.

    • Thank you for your kind words, Mary. You are so right when you say, “No one WANTS to raise their kids alone but there is no shane in being a good mom and faithful Catholic woman.” Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and to watch my visit on the Journey Home. I’m praying it will help others. God bless you!

  8. Due to dial-up, I can’t watch this, but I do know what an inspiration Donna is to so many women.

Before I die, I hope we meet one day Donna.

  9. This evening I was finally able to view your Journey Home from your website. I learned so much from you on the show especially about helping keep my children in the faith as they grow older. We had to take our little ones out of our Parish Catholic Church due to AJ’s special education needs. It seems that daily they come home after “learning” things from their new public school friends which can even shock me. Please pray for me as I try to lead them in the right way. Your show was awesome! You are a great inspiration to all us Moms!

    Blessings,

    Toni Ladd
